oh Sunday, thou goest too quickly

My seven:

Grapes
Plain Old Black Tea, no frills
Milk
Oatmeal (I'll regret this one)
Black beans
Spinach
White Rice

Sunday: A highly nutritious dinner of manufactured, highly processed, delicious canned soup with grilled cheese sandwiches and a Klondike bar.

Monday: well, the poorly-lighted picture says it all

One nice point though - it's much easier to decide on what to make for dinner.

What I Have Learned Thus Far

I am going to have to be creative with my cooking.

Thus far: yogurt, bananas, yogurt with bananas, and spinach+tomatoes+olive oil+tofu concoction.

But what I sacrifice in variety and flavor I gain in.........clout? Ability to say that one time during college I went for a week on basically a raw foods diet?

I'm not as tired or hungry or irritable as I thought I would be. It has only been a day, though.

day one of far too many days

just to begin with, i'd like to thank the good people at blogger for making my first tag option 'scooters.' i appreciate their concern for my frequent scooter usage and discussion. good on you, guys!!

okay, so i probably would have lost on day 1 if i hadn't slept in until noon...since i forgot that this was starting today. but! so it goes.

went to the store and stocked up on a variety of apples, plus extra chunky pb (chosen because it has this bear on the front that is just, it is just so saucy looking. maybe picture evidence tomorrow) and a jar of raw honey and a tub of plain yogurt.

lunch/breakfast/dinner (utilitarian, okay) was apples dipped in a big bowl of yogurt with honey mixed in. later i found a little jug of apple cider (NOTHING ADDED!) and downed it.

would have been better with tortillas.

and now i'm hanging out with my impulse buy of the first two seasons of six feet under. ohhhh yesssss.

tomorrow: pictures, fruit galore and, god willing, TORTILLAS.

claire's day one documentation

I really miss coffee.
